Best of British Ice Hockey Camps is fully committed and dedicated to ensuring the safety and well being of all our participants throughout our events. Parents can have 100% confidence that their child will be supervised in a well-managed and controlled environment on ice, off ice and between activities.
Here at BOBIHC we pride ourselves on our dedication to customer service and creating a warm, friendly, family atmosphere that everyone can enjoy. No one is more important to our program than the participants and families joining us and we want to create the best environment possible for everyone to enjoy.
With this in mind we can confirm the following steps have been taken to ensure the safety and well being of all participants:
To ensure children are well supervised on and off ice we have a team of dedicated Head Coaches who are supported by a Team of Assistant Coaches. We work to a figure of 1 coach per 5 participants during our sessions.
In addition we have dedicated Administration Staff who are available at all times for participants and parents no matter the request. Our teams job is to help all our customers and we are delighted to help in anyway we can.
We take the safety of our participants extremely seriously and with this in mind an “Official Child Protection Policy” that all coaches and staff follow throughout our events.
In an effort to further safeguard participants and staff we can confirm our company has its own Public Liability Insurance Policy for each of our events. Full details available upon request.
All staff must go through Criminal Record and Disclosure Scotland checks prior to working on our events. It is essential for us that parents have completed peace of mind that all coaches and staff have successfully passed checks in order to qualify to work within out program.
All staff must hold relevant coaching qualifications before their acceptance on our program.
It is imperative to us that all parents have complete peace of mind knowing their child is well looked after in a safe and controlled environment throughout their time with us. The health and well being of all our participants is a key ingredient in ensuring our continued success since our first camp in 2003.
