BOBIHC Confirms Elite Coaching Line-Up for Dundee Summer Camps

Best of British Ice Hockey Camps (BOBIHC) are delighted to announce an outstanding coaching roster for its 2026 Summer Camps at Dundee Ice Arena, featuring Great Britain Men’s National Team Head Coach Peter Russell, Sheffield Steeldogs Head Coach Slava Koulikov, and Solway Sharks coach Joe Coulter.

BOBIHC is thrilled to welcome Peter Russell back to the programme for all three Dundee camps this summer. Currently preparing Team GB for the Pool A World Championships in Switzerland, Russell recently rejoined BOBIHC as a guest coach during the Easter Camps in Sheffield, where his return was met with great enthusiasm from players and staff alike.

A familiar face within the BOBIHC setup, Russell previously spent many years coaching across the UK with the organisation before embarking on a highly successful professional coaching career. His achievements include domestic success with teams such as the Cardiff Devils and Glasgow Clan, as well as leading Ravensburg Towerstars to the DEL2 title. Internationally, he has guided Great Britain back to the top tier of world competition.

BOBIHC Director of Coaching Paul Heavey commented:
“I am really excited to get back on the ice at Dundee Ice Arena this summer. It was fantastic to work with Peter again at our recent Easter Camps, and we are delighted to have him join us for Dundee. We are also pleased to confirm Slava Koulikov and Joe Coulter as part of our coaching team. Slava has had an excellent season with Sheffield, and Joe is an exciting young coach with a very bright future. We are building a top-class coaching line-up for this summer.”

Peter Russell added:
“I am thrilled to be attending the BOBIHC camps after so many years away. I spent many Summer's working with Jaimie and Paul, and those are great memories for me. It will be fantastic to reunite with the team and work alongside a brilliant group of coaches and players. I really enjoyed the Easter Camps and am already looking forward to Dundee.”

Joe Coulter also shared his enthusiasm:
“I’m very excited to be back with BOBIHC in Dundee this summer. It’s been a while since I’ve been there, and I’m looking forward to working with a great group of players and coaches. Dundee is an excellent facility, and it’s great to see such strong local support for the camps.”
