Best of British Ice Hockey Camps (BOBIHC) is delighted to announce that it will stage its first-ever private ice hockey camp exclusively for Blackburn Renegades recreational players at Ice Sheffield in August 2026.
The camp marks a significant milestone for BOBIHC, representing the first time the organisation has delivered a private camp in partnership with an individual club. Participants will benefit from tailored on-ice and classroom sessions, delivered using the same high-quality coaching structure that has become synonymous with BOBIHC camps across the UK.
A BOBIHC spokesperson said:
"We are delighted to be working with Blackburn Renegades to deliver a bespoke on and off-ice development programme for their participants, and we are really looking forward to bringing this camp to life.
"We will use our regular coaching team and structure the practices around the needs of those attending, allowing them to develop and improve their skills while having fun. We have always received fantastic support from members of Blackburn Renegades, so it was an easy decision to move forward with this unique opportunity.
"The camp sold out very quickly, and a massive thank you must go to Matt Patterson for coming up with the initial concept and helping bring it to life."
A Blackburn Renegades spokesperson added:

Since being founded in 2022 by Matt Patterson and James Davey, Blackburn Renegades has continued to grow at an incredible rate. What began as a single team has expanded into three teams operating under the Renegades banner, making it one of the fastest-growing ice hockey clubs in the United Kingdom.
