Frequently asked questions

What happens after I book?

Once your booking is complete, you'll receive a confirmation email with your order details. Closer to the camp date, we'll send you all the important information you need, including arrival times, what to bring, and your camp timetable.

I've paid my deposit. How do I pay the remaining balance?

After you have paid your deposit. You will either be charged the balance 7 days before the camp starts on your registered card, or if you have selected to pay camp balance at camp registration you will pay it on the morning of day 1.

Can I transfer my booking to another camp?

Where possible, we're happy to move bookings between camps, subject to availability. Please contact us as early as possible if your plans change.

When will I receive the camp timetable?

Camp timetables are usually emailed around 5-7 days before the camp starts, once final numbers have been confirmed.

What do I need to bring?

You'll need your full ice hockey equipment, suitable off-ice clothing and trainers, a water bottle, lunch (unless stated otherwise), and any medication you require.

Can I buy a camp jersey?

Yes! Official camp jerseys can be ordered before the camp with custom names and numbers. You will be emailed details before the camp. Blank jerseys can be purchased at the camp subject to availability.

Can parents stay and watch?

Yes. Parents and family members are welcome to watch from the viewing areas provided by the arena.

What happens on the first day of camp?

Please arrive at the designated registration time provided before the camp begins. You'll check in with our team, receive any camp information, settle any payment balances and be directed to your changing room before the camp begins.

Which changing room will I be in?

Changing room allocations will be displayed at registration on the first day.

Are goalies coached separately?

Yes. Dedicated goalie coaching is provided throughout the camp where advertised.

Will players be grouped by age and ability?

Yes. Players are grouped to provide the best possible coaching environment while maintaining safe and competitive sessions.

What happens if my child gets injured during camp?

Our coaching staff are trained to deal with injuries, and appropriate first aid will be provided. Parents or guardians will be contacted immediately if required.

Can I purchase BOBIHC merchandise?

Yes. We regularly offer jerseys, hoodies, caps and other official BOBIHC merchandise.

Will camp photos be taken?

Yes. We often take photos and videos during camp to share on our website and social media. If you have any concerns, please let us know before the camp.
